The very first letter in the book The Boron Letters was written on my dad’s birthday so I think it’s appropriate to release a couple raw unedited chapters of what I am tentatively calling The Boron Letters 2.0 on my birthday.
In my father’s letters to me, he expressed a hope I would take his wisdom and life lessons, add my own, and then pass them on to my kids to start a Halbert family tradition of handing down life changing wisdom from one generation to the next.
Today I turned 56 and it’s not lost on me that Ian Fleming who created the character I am named after, died at my age and I’d rather get something unpolished out into the world than put it off indefinitely.
Note: I mention it in the recording to my favorite son Preston, but I’d like to make it even clearer that I am definitely not an expert on health and I am not the best marketer or parent in the world but, I am offering some hard learned lessons on each of those three topics in the first chapter just as my dad did.
The other recording is just about marketing.
If and when I do publish all of my lessons (there are 46 so far) I will edit out the stuff about parenting and health in the first audio but for now, I’m sharing these two unedited recordings to prove to my son that I follow the Gary Halbert principal of anything worth doing is worth doing poorly.
As mentioned above, the second audio is all about marketing and I’m sure I’ll have to shorten that one too.
Peace,
Sir Bond of Halbert
PS I’ll be releasing a few more free chapters just to folks who sign up on this website, so if you haven’t already, please hop on my list and use your best primary email address because once the raw versions are edited, they will be pulled from where they are hosted.
PPS If these recordings offer no value to anyone, my father, brothers, wife, and kids are not to be blamed. But, if these chapters do offer any good insights, my dad gets all the credit. That’s the way he would want it.
